See You Next Year!

We said goodbye to each other this afternoon after a wonderful last day. Campers and staff participated in a Field Day before having a picnic and returning to camp for the annual carnival, complete with a dunk tank, moon bounce, and sno-cone machine. After the festivities, we marveled at the talents of our CADC community as campers danced and showed off their moves, and we followed our talent show with a slide show that allowed us to relive all the fun and fabulous memories we made together. A bit of cake helped us finish the day sweetly, though the the campers' departure was not without tears.
Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or a lifetime, is certain for those who are friends. (Richard Bach).
